School Council Meeting

Minutes for 24.1.12

Attendance taken.

Agenda Box Slips discussed. No matters arising.

Council was addressed by P6 Pupil regarding his suggestion for a talent show.

Following points were agreed and to be taken to Mrs. Hampsey for approval:

• St. Patrick’s Got Talent Concert
• P5, P6, P7 Children to showcase their talent to their class teacher.
• Each class is to vote and decide on one act to represent their class in the Final Talents can be Dance, Singing, Musical Instruments, Comedy, Poetry etc…
• Each Act is to last no longer than 2minutes.
• 9 acts in the final to be held in KS2 gym on a date before Easter.
• All classes to be an audience for the Acts.
• Acts to pay £2 to enter and money to go to charity.
• Judges to decide top 3 acts.
• When top 3 acts are decided, pupils can vote for their favourite act back in the classroom.
• School Council to count the total votes from all classes.
• Winner to receive trophy.
