Welcome to Primary 3!
We are now in the month of May. We will have a class altar in honour of Mary. We talk to the children about May being Mary's month and pray the Hail Mary.
School lessons begin at 9.15am. Please remember to email, send a note or phone the school should your child be absent for any reason.
If there are any planned changes to collection arrangements, please inform the Class Teacher or contact the School Office.
The Primary 3s had been learning about Houses and Homes as part of their last World Around Us topic, therefore we felt it would be enjoyable for the Primary 3 classes to go to the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh at the beginning of June 2022. The children are really excited about this trip, so please ensure your child’s consent form is sent back to school. Children will need to wear their own clothes. Remember to bring a coat in case of bad weather. We are so excited for our school trip. Fingers crossed for sunshine.
We have PE lessons outside and ask that you ensure children have appropriate footwear and clothing on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Primary 3 children are given weekly homework. It is sent home each Monday and it should be returned to school on a Friday. Reading books are also being sent home each week.
Remember to continue accessing 'Oxford Owl' and 'Mathletics' at home to continue independent learning.
Please continue to follow the new rules in school. Wash your hands as you enter your classroom. Sanitise your hands regularly. Remember to keep everyone safe in your bubble. Also 'Catch it. Bin it. Kill it!'
