Part of our learning this term has been the non-number topic of measurement, we have spent time estimating length and width using different items such as cubes, pencils and hands. We progressed to using standard measurements of centimeters and meters and practiced our accurate measuring skills for classroom objects such as our tables, books and glue sticks. We also used our digital ICT skills to measure on the interactive whiteboard using the Knitting Kitten game on www.topmarks.com.
