Our P7, P6, P5 and P4 Eco Councillors rolled up their sleeves today and got stuck into a hands-on environmental project, planting a variety of vegetables.
The enthusiastic group worked together to prepare the soil, carefully plant seeds and young plants, and water their new crops. The vegetables planted included a mix of seasonal favourites, potatoes, carrots and beetroot, giving pupils the opportunity to learn more about how food is grown and the importance of sustainable living.
