This week we were learning all about birds. We know that some birds fly to warmer countries in the winter. We enjoyed listening to a story all about birds with different coloured feathers. We had a special box where we closed our eyes and picked out a bird puppet. We practiced making them fly. We then went outside with our clip boards to see if we could spot any birds. We drew pictures of some of the birds! When we came back to the classroom we decorated our own birds and made little bird feeders for them using cheerios and pipe cleaners. We hope lots of birds come to visit us!
