GAA Success for St. Patrick's Pupils

13th Oct 2025

The Dungannon Clarkes Under-10.5 team took part in the Stewartstown tournament, enjoying a brilliant morning of football — unbeaten in the group stage and finishing the day with gold medals after a series of excellent performances.

The Primary 7 boys — Declan, Ricardinho, Edas and Raphael — were all outstanding on the day, showing great teamwork, skill, and determination throughout. They played a huge part in what was a very special day for the team, representing their school and club with real pride.

A special mention to Edas who had already played soccer earlier that morning for Dungannon United Youth and still came straight to play for the Clarkes — a brilliant display of commitment and enthusiasm that summed up the spirit of the whole group.

Declan scored a dramatic goal in the final minute of the semi-final, turning a two-point deficit into a one-point lead, while Ricardinho produced a heroic block in the dying seconds to secure the victory and our place in the final moments that perfectly captured the boys’ courage and commitment. We also want to acknowledge Bona , Rafael and Alexandrio, Mason K, Tyler Mallon and Mason S who are part of the group.

Thank you to coaches Michael Donnelly, Gareth Cullen, and Niall Hasson, who all coach the Dungannon Clarkes Under-10.5 team.
