Happy Halloween
24th Oct 2025
This week the children in the SPS class enjoyed lots of spooky sensory activities for Halloween. We dug for wriggly worms using tweezers in the sand, we found the creepy spiders in the red jelly and we carved pumpkins and made gruesome pumpkin soup with lots of leaves acorns and spiders.
The children enjoyed sensory cookery and made delicious cobweb cupcakes and brought home special Halloween art for our families.
We hope you have a wonderful restful break and look forward to the next half term. Our next learning topic will be Winter Wonderland and our learning is focused on Science; testing for hot and cold, the colour yellow and our shape is circle, and our new phonic sound is 'a'.
