Well done to all Mrs Devine's Primary 1 children who worked very hard all week. We stayed in school all day until 2 O'Clock. In Literacy we were singing nursery rhymes, talking about Kipper and his family, threading and using the pegboards. In Numeracy this week, we were learning about the numbers 1 and 2. We used the numicon shapes, the counting sticks, the eleflips and the sumbeads. We had our 1st PE lesson on Tuesday with Niamh in the big gym. To warm up we were finding spaces and playing musical statues. Then we played the Mr & Mrs game. Gilson and Tonya won Niamh's stickers this week for super listening. We started to use mathseeds in the classroom. We have a special logon card with a QR code that we can use on our class i-Pads. We used JIT5 to create our own pictures on the whiteboard. A very busy week at school.
