We focused on the ‘k’ sound, practised our new key words, “me” and “we.” We enjoyed reading The Rainbow Fish, talking about the characters, and sequencing the story events together.
We were excited to begin our new topic, “Off We Go.” The children loved sharing their holiday experiences and worked together to create a graph showing the different places we have visited. We have been observing our sunflower seeds growing, naming parts and measuring the tallest stems.
In Religion, we learned about our church and different places where people pray. During PDMU, we discussed ways we are the same and ways we are different, celebrating what makes each of us special.
In PE, we have been practising our athletics skills in preparation for Sports Day. During outdoor play, the children explored different ways of moving and developed a range of skills while learning through play outdoors.
