P7 Etching and Printing
10th Mar 2026
Here in St. Patrick’s, we are so lucky to have The Hill of O’Neill on our doorstep. We love exploring the grounds of Hugh O’Neill’s castle and imagining the moat running all the way around Northland Row. On this visit, we learned to use science to help us etch and print our drawings of various scenes around the hill. Everyone was amazed at how the water changed when a complete circuit was created, and it was satisfying to watch the wax being melted off by the heat of the hairdryer. We were all delighted with the final results, what do you think?
