Our Primary 7 pupils are learning about the topic of scale in Numeracy.
We measured our outdoor spaces with trundle wheels and non-standard units ( strides - approximately 1m).
We were able to record our measurements and bring the information back to class to calculate the scale on our maps of the grounds of St.Patrick's P.S.
Have a look at the excellent work we were able to do.
This was a fun follow-up activity after we had used our research on some Lego pieces to calculate scale.
We even took the opportunity to use our learning to work out the scale of some of our Easter Creations!!
