This week we were continuing with the number 14 and using the number rods to make trains. We began to use the plus sign for our addition problems. We also started to talk about direction and movement and used the beebots and the botley. We played the jellybean game in Trudy's Time and Place House to move forwards and turn in different directions. In Literacy we continued with The Very Hungry Caterpillar' Story. Our caterpillars are now growing very fast in their jar. Our key word this week was was 'said' and our new letter this week was 'n' . In our Religion lessons, we talked about our St Patrick's Day celebrations and we and were learning about the story of The Last Supper. In The World Around Us, we watched a story called 'We plant a seed' and then we planted our own cress seeds. We will watch them grow. We had a P.E. lesson with Miss O'Neill and got to use the scooter in the outdoor Play Area.
