SPSC1 January week 4 2026
This week, the children have taken part in a variety of exciting and purposeful learning activities across the curriculum.
In our creative play and literacy provision, the boys particularly enjoyed using shaving foam in the tuff tray to support their learning linked to The Three Little Pigs. This activity encouraged sensory exploration, storytelling, and imaginative role play.
In cookery, the children made brownies, developing their independence with measuring, mixing, and following instructions.
During PE, we focused on sorting and group work, where the children practised working collaboratively and confidently in teams using colours to organise themselves.
In maths, the children have continued to work hard on money, developing their understanding of coin values and using money in practical contexts.
In Understanding the World, we explored homes, sorting items and discussing what belongs in a home and where different objects should go, building vocabulary and supporting real-life learning.
To end the week, the big boys enjoyed swimming again, showing excellent enthusiasm and growing confidence in the water.
Overall, it has been a productive week full of hands-on learning, teamwork, and fantastic progress.
