The boys of SPSC1 have enjoyed another lovely week, made even better by the sunshine returning for our Daily-mile morning walk.
This week we have started some workstation and tabletop activities to refresh our brains, including high frequency word sorting, fine motor colouring-in and comprehension tasks.
We have played games on the IWB including our Piggybank money game which helped us practice skip counting.
We also too some time out to make special "Get well soon" cards for Ms Dos Santos our CA who we miss a lot.
Thursday was a special day this week as we had our 1st assembly of the year and two boy received their class certificates for being fantastic! We also had our school mass for the start of term and the P4,5,6 boys behaved impeccably and enjoyed the wonderful music from the school choir.
One of the favourite parts of each day is our Storytime session, where each child takes part by voting for the story of the day. It is a great opportunity for us to talk about stories we enjoy, what makes a good story and what we might do if we were a character.
Another great week of friendship, fun and learning in SPSC1.
