It has been another busy week is SPSC1, we have practiced our math skills talking about numbers to 10 and the strategy of rounding numbers. We have continued our cookery with making "strawberry fluff" and even made our own coconut Play-doh, although that is for playing with and NOT for eating. We took part in P.E with Healthy Kids coach Niamh and this week we enjoyed learning new ways to throw our ball. In music we learned a new song based on Jack and the Beanstalk, this one was soft and gentle and everyone felt very calm and relaxed after performing it with our shakers.
On Fridays we have Science with Miss Donnelly. Last week the class got to explore the wonder of a VOLCANO, everyone loved being a scientist for the day. Gladly it did not destroy our classroom!
Another great week of learning and friendship in SPSC1.
