STEM with St Patrick's College
15th Oct 2025
This week saw the beginning of the STEM project. STEM education in schools teaches Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Over the coming weeks, our P6 children will visit St. Patrick's College, Dungannon where they will learn many new and exciting facts.
Yesterday's class was practical. We learned about our local biome and then we made some houses for hedgehogs. We got to design our own houses. Some of the P6 children started making a bird feeder. Thank you to the staff and pupils in St. Patrick's College, especially Miss Flanaghan who taught us about our local biome and helped us build our hedgehog house! We had so much fun!
