Visit by Dairy Council.
This week we had a visit by Dairy Council representatives, Kerri and Hannah. They spoke about the importance of having a balanced life style and why we need to eat dairy products. The Primary 5 children enjoyed participating in a range of activities. The children took part in a sorting activity where they had to sort food into the four food groups. Hannah and Kerri also emphasised the importance of maintaining an active life style and recommended that the children should accumulate at least 60 minutes of exercise every day. The children actively participated in a singing and dancing routine. The children received a Food and Fitness book that contained information on the importance of having a balanced diet and being active.
