This week we are learning about teen numbers using the numicon shapes. We are continuing to use the language of addition in our number problems. We matched and coloured the number rods and built towers for numbers to 16. In Literacy our new sound is 'g' and our new keyword is 'see'. In the World Around Us, we are learning about baby animals in Spring. This week, we met The Worry Monster and gave him a cuddle. We got to go outside for our play where we: solved some problems, experimented with the water and made cakes and soup in the mud kitchen. We took the instruments outside, where we danced and sang in the stage area. We got mixing paints and created the petals with our hands for the display in the school foyer. We had our P.E. with Caolan and played the hat game. Please ensure your child has appropriate footwear on Wednesdays for their outdoor Play.
