This week in Literacy we: sang our nursery rhymes, practiced threading, used peg boards, completed jigsaws and worked hard at staying on the line. We played Kim's Game and clapped syllables for animals. We used the scissors to cut along a straight line. We talked more about Kipper's family. In Numeracy we were: using mathseeds, beginning to sort, matching one to one, self registering for lunch and dinner, exploring the numicon shapes and learning about numbers 1, 2 and 3. We are using our class visual timeline. We had a visit from Malachi and sang some songs. We used JIT to colour. We had P.E. with Niamh. Emma and Moubeshiyr got Niamh's stickers this week. Moubeshiyr had some great dance moves to the music. This Friday we have our 1st assembly in the big gym.
