This week in Literacy we are learning the sounds for e, l and h. We are learning our keywords. We used set 1 sounds to create green words using the magnetic letters. We were talking about our letters to Santa. In Numeracy this week we are learning to read and write the number 5. We are learning about size and using positional language. We used the Numicon number rods to talk about size. We continued our work on toys and we sorted some wooden and plastic toys. We started learning our songs and speaking the words for our Christmas Sing Song. This week we are talking about emotions in our PDMU lessons. Today we had our last P.E. lesson with Niamh and we played a Christmas game called reindeer tag. Please use the links in the home-school section of this website to watch the sound video links for our read, write inc sounds. Remember to go over the words of our Christmas songs. Your child will have these in their homework folder. We will be recording a story using My Story SE on the i-Pad. Look out for more photos later in the week.
