Our school will be delivering Fresh Little Minds SUNRISE Programme in Nursery to P4. This is a fun and interactive programme which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of our children through nurturing and building resilience. It will support families to develop knowledge and skills in this area.
AMBER and Bamber, special dog puppets will be used in Nursery to P4 classrooms to help pupils:
- identify feelings and understand emotions.
- understand emotions can show up as physical symptoms.
- help children regulate and relax.
- Connect and communicate better.
Children will learn strategies with the use of the dog puppets to enable them to learn more easily, concentrate better, feel and act calmer and have healthier minds and bodies!
