SLSC Sensory Story: 'The Scarecrow who didn't scare'.

19th Oct 2022

Sensory stories can be a great way to support our pupils.  They are a fun way of providing sensory support and of simply sharing a story together.  By engaging multiple different senses, we can make storytelling more memorable, engaging and meaningful for all our boys and girls.  We had great fun in Mrs McCrory's class listening to an Autumn themed sensory story 'The Scarecrow who didn't scare'.  We developed our sight, smell, touch, sound and most importantly, our sitting and listening skills.  Well done, everyone!
